The Next Web Conference - Expectations
I’m writing this on the way to The Next Web Conference in Amsterdam. I’m really looking forward to two days of networking and hearing what the top people in the web industry have to say where the web is heading in the future.
Besides me there are only a handful of people from Finland attending, which is a shame as these kinds of conferences are a great way for being on the edge and making contacts that will be very beneficial in the future. Finnish startups that are present (at least to my knowledge) at the Next Web Conference are Floobs, TripSay, Scred and Innosonic.
The things that I’m most looking forward are the 5 minute presentations from 24 startups. It will be very interesting how they will sell their offering to the audience.
From the keynote presentations I’m especially expecting to hear Khris Loux, CEO and co-founder of JS-Kit, his topis is “Web 3.0 or Web 3D?, The Decentralization, Disaggregation and Democratization of the Web” and /Data portability and Chris Saad, Co-Founder and Chairperson at DataPortability.org.
Of course, I bet that Diggation live will a lot of fun. All in all I’m very excited, but apparently I’m not the only one…
