Startups from Finland: Everyplay: Stealth Social Gaming Startup

Everyplay is a new Finnish “social Gaming Startup operating in stealth mode”. Vierityspalkki reports (in Finnish) that the company’s founder and CEO is Jussi Laakkonen, who previously worked for another Finnish game company Bugbear, the makers of Flatout.
They only information on Everyplay’s home page is their vision:
We believe that everybody likes to play. We believe that what we today consider to be games are just the tip of the iceberg. We believe that games should be enjoyed with your friends. We believe that that there are better ways to make games. We believe that you should play everyday. We believe that playing is the best entertainment. We believe that games have to transform from packaged goods to evolving services. We believe that games should be about more relevant to you than mages and spaceships are. We believe any interaction can more enjoyable if it is playful.
Everyplay has received 300.000DKK (about 40.000€) from the Nordic Computer Game Program for their game Groove. Jussi Laakkonen admits on the IGDA forum that they are trying to accomplish something big:
We are attempting to create something new and highly innovative. There is high risk involved, and we might fail. We might succeed. In any case, we can look in the mirror years from now, and be proud of trying to do something extraordinary.
I’m happy that we get more startups in Finland that are willing to take bug risks, but I hope the company would’ve chosen another name. Everyplay.com redirects to a well-known domain squatter’s page.
