Fruugo (earlier post, 2), an ecommerce platform startup from Finland hasn’t really given too much information on itself. But at least they are recruiting. Their home page has a big image with a test tube and the following recruiting announcement:

Wosbee: World’s Largest Webshop Community Wannabe

I was approached by a person from a leading Finnish e-commerce software provider Smilehouse, that I should mention their web shop community, Wosbee. They claim that Wosbee is the world’s biggest web shop community.
Startups from Finland: Fruugo - backed by Nokia’s ex-CEO and the founder of F-Secure
Fruugo is a new Finnish startup that has something to do with e-commerce. The list of people involved is very impressive. They include Nokia’s ex-CEO and Chairman Jorma Ollila and F-Secure founder and CEO Risto Siilasmaa among others. The biggest investor is Washington DC based Queensway Developments LLC.
Fruugo will begin its operations from the beginning of January. The only thing that can be said about what they are doing is that they are working with e-commerce - developing an online shopping platform and apparently they will do hosting as well. Their home page only sports this very web2.0 image that has clearly something to do with e-commerce:
